Job summary

Tong Lei Engineering and Construction (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to support project managers on site and at meetings. The role focuses on coordinating construction activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with codes.

The candidate will prepare method statements, plan works, and provide technical input to improve project outcomes, while maintaining detailed site records and daily progress reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering from accredited Universities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meetings pertaining to the technical issues.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project.
• Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects.
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, progress records, inspection requests, site records and as built information.
• Ensure works comply with contract specifications, safety regulations, and relevant authority requirements.
