Job summary

LEZE CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with extensive Singapore construction experience to interpret drawings, coordinate site activities, and supervise structural works including formwork, rebar and concrete operations.

The role requires 3+ years in civil/structural engineering and 5+ years in construction, with added advantage for AutoCad viewer familiarity and land surveying experience. The candidate will ensure QAQC and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural engineering or equivalent.
• Over 3 years of civil/structural engineering experience in Singapore context.
• Over 5 years of construction experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCad viewer is advantageous.
• Land surveying experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interpret consultant and construction drawings and specifications for construction.
• Coordinate site technical aspects of construction activities with subcontractor.
• Supervise structural works including formworks, rebar, concrete and precast works.
• Review BBS for reinforcement bar procurement and control rebar wastage.
• Formworks planning with subcontractor and control formworks usage.
• Manage concrete works including concrete usage and wastage minimisation.
• Manage material and equipment usage including formworks material delivery and usage.
• Supervise quality of workmanship as per project QAQC plan including material testing.
• Ensure subcontractor activities comply with Project workplace safety, environment and health requirements ESH.
• Monitor, track and report site progress, productivity, and records.
• Ensure compliance with contract design requirements and authority standards.
• Support senior engineer in RFI and drawing discrepancy matters; report to senior engineer and technical team.
• Attend RE and RTO inspections including preparing inspection forms, QAQC checklists and rectification works.
• Assist Site manager in subcontract works planning and execution.
