Job summary

OBAYASHI SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a capable Construction Planning professional to assist the Construction Manager in project planning and overseeing on-site works. You will help develop schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with teams to keep milestones on track.

Responsibilities include updating schedules, preparing monthly progress reports for in-house and external stakeholders, and identifying risks with contingency actions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' engineering experience with a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized by SO.
• At least 4 years' experience in planning, coordinating and managing construction works/teams for infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience in working on construction sites, especially civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Manager of overall planning functions, including project schedules and progress tracking.
• Monitor the daily progress of work-on-site, identify delays or issues and implement adjustments to keep the project on track.
• Maintain and update all project schedules regularly, collecting actual data such as progress status and manpower allocation.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly progress reports for in-house, owner, and consultant submissions, highlighting key milestones.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify risks or challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Resolve discrepancies and coordinate site-related technical problems encountered.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Construction Manager/ General Manager/ Project Director.
