National University of Singapore invites applications for a Senior Research Fellow (Power Electronics) in the College of Design and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Kent Ridge Campus. You will lead a research project with the PI and team to explore high-switching-frequency operation of SiC devices and advanced power electronics applications.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years postdoctoral experience, strong knowledge of SiC, gate drivers, EMI

Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power engineering.
Minimum 3 years of postdoctoral research experience in power electronics and related areas.
Strong domain knowledge in SiC WBG devices and high-frequency drive circuits.

Responsibilities

Lead a research project with PI and team to study, evaluate and innovate on SiC power electronics.
Characterize SiC devices and model high-frequency, high-temperature performance.
Develop thermal and electrical models; simulate and benchmark new devices.
Design gate drivers, EMI filters and loss analyses for high-speed operation.
Mentor students; coordinate procurement and vendor liaison; contribute to lab management.
