Qualifications

• Experience in shipment coordination, logistics or related fields.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, trade regulations, and customs processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, including interactions with government authorities.
• Proficiency with logistics software and ERP/WMS systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in freight billing and invoice reconciliation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment activities across marine, pipeline, rail and truck modes.
• Liaise with customs officers, government agencies and freight forwarders.
• Verify shipping documents for compliance and endorsements.
• Process freight payments and billing via internal systems.
• Review vendor invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot operational and system issues in day-to-day shipments.
• Analyze transportation spend for cost savings opportunities.
• Support inventory management and redeployment of slow-moving stock.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, payments and reporting.
• Monitor vessel movements and provide logistics insights.
• Participate in process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support supply disruption responses and quality incidents.
• Provide guidance to junior Logistics Coordinators.
