Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Director to lead the planning and execution of contracts for new-build shipbuilding. You will set up projects for success by following PM processes, ensure safety, timely delivery, and quality within budget.

You will actively engage stakeholders across the lifecycle, mentor the project team, manage risks, change control, and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture or Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of contracts for new-build shipbuilding.
• Set up projects for success following PM processes and standards.
• Deliver safe, timely, on-budget, quality outcomes.
• Engage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship to the project team.
• Pre-empt risks, plan contingencies, and manage scope.
• Track progress against plan and budget; manage change control.
• Report progress to management with key deliverables.
• Identify business impacts and drive change management.
• Foster a high-performing team culture.
• Control project expenditures and variations.
