Job summary

ST Engineering Marine Ltd is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead contracts for new-build shipbuilding, ensuring delivery safely, on time and within budget. You will mentor the project team and engage stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include risk planning, cross-functional leadership, scope definition, detailed scheduling, cost control and progress reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture or Business.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience.
• PM experience is required; PMP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pre-empt project risk and plan for contingencies.
• Formulate solutions for business problems and value drivers.
• Clearly define scope and outcomes, determine delivery approach with resources, timeline and budget.
• Plan detailed resource-based project plans showing dependencies and roles.
• Drive cross-functional team to deliver to plan and budget; monitor progress.
• Track progress against plan and budget; manage scope via change control.
• Identify and manage risks and issues; escalate blockers as needed.
• Report progress to management with key deliverables.
• Ensure change management addresses business impacts for stakeholders.
• Maintain a collaborative, high-performing project team culture.
• Control project expenditures and pursue Variations within budget.
