Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced security engineering professional to lead the design, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of integrated security solutions. You will collaborate with PMs, construction teams, clients, and vendors to deliver projects that meet strict specifications and industry standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer science, or related field, experience with major security platforms, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with security platforms and integration is required.
• Certifications in Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, BVMS, or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of security solutions from design through implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, clients, and vendors to meet project specs.
• Prepare technical documentation: shop drawings, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, programming matrices.
• Develop system architecture and security designs, device schedules and specs; ensure correct material orders.
• Support FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning, and troubleshooting; travel domestically and internationally as needed.
