Job summary

SEATRIUM (SG) PTE. LTD. is seeking a vigilant Security Supervisor for our dormitory in Singapore. You will enforce house rules, manage security officers, and ensure compliance with licenses, training, and safety procedures.

Your role includes risk assessment reviews, access control guidance, shift briefings, and incident reporting to maintain a safe living environment for residents and staff. Rotating shifts and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field, GCE 'O'/'N' Level or equivalent.
• Valid PLRD Security License with minimum rank of Security Supervisor
• Minimum 5 years of relevant supervisory capacity in security operations and fire safety procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven investigation skills and strong report writing abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse residents
• Ability to conduct security patrols and physical inspections
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enforces dormitory houserules, regulations, and security requirements.
• Reviews dormitory procedures and risk assessment. Ensure procedures, risk assessments and instructions are followed and updated when necessary.
• Ensures security policies, protocols and procedures are followed by officers in the team.
• Supervises security agency security officers on day-to-day security operations.
• Assists Dormitory Manager to monitor the performance and development of agency security personnel, addressing any disciplinary issues.
• Ensures security personnel in the team possess the necessary training, licenses and certification required to perform their duties.
• Assists and guides security officers as they perform their duties such as access control and screening of residents, visitors, contractors, employees, vendors, delivery drivers, vehicles, etc.
• Prepares shift briefing notes and oversee the conduct of daily shift briefings to the security team.
• Conducts supervisory checks on documents processed by Security Officers such as gate pass, declaration forms, key book, lost & found, occurrence book, vehicle entry permits, visitors data systems, etc.
• Oversees the deployment roster prepared by the in-house Security Supervisor, and reviews/amends as required to meet operational needs.
• Plans, coordinates and deploys security personnel for internal and external events.
• Supervises security officers responding to incidents and emergencies.
• Deploys security personnel during drills and exercises.
• Provides feedback to Dormitory Manager on possible security threats and recommend mitigation measures.
• Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to address security issues, surface process vulnerabilities and improvement.
• Ensures condition of security systems and equipment are working and raise to the relevant party to rectify any faults.
• Represents security department when participating in internal and external meetings.
• Prepare reports such as incident reports, drill and exercise reports, police report, etc.
• Conducts traffic control and marshalling at dormitory entrances and gates to ensure a safe and smooth traffic for residents, staff and vehicle users.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Dormitory Manager.
