Job summary

Carlton City Hotel Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Security Supervisor to assist the Security Manager in running daily security operations at the hotel. You will deploy officers, lead training, and manage CCTV and alarm systems while ensuring guest safety.

The role requires a Security Supervisor license, 2+ years in security, and strong communication skills. You will report to the Security Manager and join a fast-paced hotel environment on site.

Qualifications

• Secondary 4 or above or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in security operation.
• Possesses Security Supervisor license.
• Proficient in computer literacy skills/applications.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Apply excellent problem-solving skills to address security issues promptly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Security department with the Security Manager/Assistant Security Manager.
• Plan and deploy security officers for smooth daily operations.
• Lead and conduct training for Security Officers.
• Manage the FCC and operate security systems including CCTV.
• Operate the CCTV system.
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of security equipment.
• Enforce house rules and report breaches to authorities promptly.
• Attend to guests' feedback in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist in emergencies and investigations (fires, fights, First Aid).
• Implement the prescribed emergency plan during emergencies.
• Conduct initial incident scene investigations and submit reports.
• Manage and resolve verbal or physical conflicts.
• Perform Witness and Bank Escort duties when needed.
• Clocking patrols to monitor intrusion, damage, hazards and breaches.
• Handle other security duties as assigned by management.

• 1. Assists the Security Manager / Assistant Security Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Security department.
• 2. Plans and deploys security officers to ensure smooth daily security operations.
• 3. Leads and conducts training for the team of Security Officers.
• 4. Manages the FCC and operates various security systems in the FCC.
• 5. Operate the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system.
• 6. Accountable for preventive and corrective maintenance of security equipment.
• 7. Enforces all house rules set by the Management and ensures all breaches of laws are reported to the relevant authorities promptly.
• 8. Attends to guests' feedback in a timely and professional manner.
• 9. Renders assistance in emergencies and investigations such as fires, fights, First Aid.
• 10. Implement the prescribed emergency plan in case of emergency
• 11. Conducts initial investigations at incident scenes and submit incident report.
