Job summary

Carlton Hotel (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Security Officer to safeguard hotel properties, deter theft, and ensure a safe guest experience. You will lead by example, patrol CHS premises, control access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role requires flexible shift work including weekends and public holidays, a Security Officer License, PWM certificates, and at least one year of security experience.

Qualifications

• GCE 'N' Level or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant security operation experience.
• Possesses Security Officer License and PWM module certificates.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift work including weekends and public holidays.
• Lead by example, stay disciplined and motivate others.
• Assist in safeguarding CHS properties and assets.
• Serve as Service Ambassador of CHS to ensure guests have a safe, memorable experience.
• Conduct random checks on consignments and entrants at security checkpoints.
• Identify and report unusual or suspicious occurrences to supervisors.
• Patrol for traffic enforcement and address illegal parking.
• Perform basic Fire Command Centre duties.
• Execute Witness and Bank Escort duties as required.
• Conduct Lobby Surveillance and Driveway duties.
• Handle lost and found property.
• Respond to Room safe and door lock matters.
• Assist guests and staff during incidents with investigations.
• Patrol CHS property and monitor CCTV, security coverage for VIPs.
• Assist with security pass exchange and report hazards to supervisors.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. 1. Able to perform shift work including on weekends, public holidays and ad-hoc deployments when required.
2. 2. Must be responsible, disciplined, and able to lead by example, highly motivated and influence others positively.
3. 3. Primary duty is to assist in safeguarding CHS properties and assets.
4. 4. Secondary duty is to be a Service Ambassador of CHS. In short, to ensure that guests of CHS have a safe and memorable experience.
5. 5. Conduct random checks on consignments and staff entering/leaving the hotel and their personal belongings at the security checkpoint to impede pilferage.
6. 6. Identify and report unusual or suspicious occurrences in the hotel to Superiors.
7. 7. Perform traffic enforcement patrols and take enforcement action against illegal parking.
8. 8. Performs basic Fire Command Centre (FCC) duties.
9. 9. Performs Witness and Bank Escort duties.
10. 10. Performs Lobby Surveillance and Driveway duties.
11. 11. Handle lost and found property.
12. 12. Respond to Room safe and Door lock matters
13. 13. Conduct basic Investigation/ Fact-findings and provide assistance to Guests/ Staff when handling incidents.
14. 14. Other duties encompass patrolling CHS property, security pass exchange, neutralize any domestic conflicts or criminal activities within CHS, monitoring of CCTVs, security coverage / escorts for VIPs, checking on contractor's work, identifying structure or operational deficiencies, identify security and safety hazards and report them to the supervisors
15. 15. Any other duties as and when assigned by the Security Supervisor/ Assistant Security Manager

Education and Work Experience

1. 1. GCE 'N' Level or equivalent
2. 2. Minimum 1- year of relevant experience in security operation
3. 3. Possesses Security Officer License and relevant PWM module certificates
