Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to champion Agile values, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business and technical objectives.

You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain the backlog, define sprint goals, and ensure governance and risk management across project delivery. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, managing Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) or equivalent Agile frameworks.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software design and development, with at least 3 years in Agile project environments.
• Experience developing solutions using enterprise technologies including database design, web/application servers, and network technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Product Owner and the project delivery team.
• Coach and guide teams in Agile processes, Scrum ceremonies, and best practices.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure adherence to Scrum values.
• Act as a servant leader, removing impediments and enabling team productivity.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to develop and maintain the Product Backlog; define sprint objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Plan iterations and overall project schedules in alignment with stakeholder expectations; track progress with Agile metrics.
• Maintain accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables; manage client expectations and relationships.
• Ensure documentation, governance, and compliance with confidentiality and security requirements.
