Singular: Building Brilliant Biotechs in Singapore is seeking a Senior Scientist, RNA Analytical Development to lead analytical strategy across RNA raw materials, drug substances, and drug products. You will work across mRNA, ASOs, siRNA, gRNA, LNPs, and conjugated oligos.

You will establish robust, scalable analytical workflows and partner with chemistry, formulation, biology, and development teams to enable pipeline progression. A PhD with deep RNA analytics expertise is required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Extensive industry experience in RNA analytical development.
• Strong expertise in LC-MS, HRMS, capillary electrophoresis, and advanced chromatographic techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of analytical workflows supporting pharmaceutical R&D.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving research environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement orthogonal analytical workflows (HPLC, LC-MS, HRMS, CE, UV, qPCR, DLS, TEM).
• Define and assess CQAs using QbD principles.
• Develop scalable, phase-appropriate analytical methods from discovery through IND-enabling studies.
• Ensure data integrity and traceability using ELN and LIMS systems.

The Role

As Senior Scientist, RNA Analytical Development, the successful candidate will develop and execute analytical strategies across RNA raw materials, drug substances, and drug products.

Working across multiple RNA modalities, including mRNA, ASOs, siRNA, gRNA, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), and conjugated oligonucleotides, you will establish robust analytical workflows that support both platform development and therapeutic pipeline progression.

This is a highly visible role offering broad scientific exposure and close collaboration with teams across chemistry, formulation, biology, and pharmaceutical development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement orthogonal analytical workflows using HPLC, LC-MS, HRMS, capillary electrophoresis (CE), UV spectroscopy, qPCR, DLS, and TEM.
• Define and assess critical quality attributes (CQAs) using Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
• Develop scalable, phase-appropriate analytical methods to support programmes from discovery through IND-enabling studies.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance through effective use of ELN and LIMS systems.

About You

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• Extensive Industry experience in RNA analytical development
• Strong expertise in LC-MS, HRMS, capillary electrophoresis, and advanced chromatographic techniques.
