Job summary

ST Engineering Geo-Insights Pte Ltd invites a Senior Ground Software Engineer to lead a team of software engineers delivering satellite ground control and antenna management software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission objectives and ensure high quality software.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in mission critical systems, strong skills in C#, ReactJs, Python, and experience with databases, APIs, networks, messaging, and cloud tech.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in mission critical system software development.
• Comfortable working with C#, ReactJs, Python.
• Experience with databases, API design, network architecture, message broker, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with core engineering infrastructure tools such as Git servers, CI/CD pipelines, Container Technologies.
• Familiar with agile software development lifecycles.
• Able to communicate in English in a fluid, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for satellite ground control and antenna management software systems.
• Testing, verify, and validate software components.
• Generate and maintain software development documentation.
• Provide necessary software maintenance, training, and consultancy to users on the deployed software.
• Own problems end-to-end, considering user experience, data models, scalability, operability and metrics.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to team growth.
• Continuously develop new skills and techniques to improve development efficiency.
• Participate in defining and developing future products.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams across organizations.
