Job summary

ERP21 PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a senior SAP functional consultant with deep PS/PPM experience to lead requirements gathering, design and configuration in an S/4HANA environment for aerospace and defence programs.

You will drive long-duration program management, government reporting, data migration, testing, and end-user training while collaborating with MRO, SCM, and finance teams on interfaces and reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years as an SAP functional consultant with PS/PPM focus.
• At least 10 years in aerospace/defence industry with program reporting.
• Experience on at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation/rollout.
• Strong knowledge of WBS/network structuring, costing, budgeting, and EV management.
• Familiarity with government/defence compliance and reporting for projects.
• Experience integrating PM with MRO, SCM, Sales, and Finance modules.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design for PSP/PPM processes.
• Configure SAP PS / PPM in an S/4HANA landscape and tailor for aerospace/defence needs.
• Design solutions for program structures, EVM, and interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and finance.
• Support integration between project mgmt and MRO, SCM, OTC, and RTR functions.
• Translate business needs into functional specs; collaborate on interfaces and reports.
• Support data migration, cutover, testing (unit/integration/UAT) and hypercare.
• Deliver end-user training and documentation for PPM processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design for project and portfolio management processes including project structuring (WBS),scheduling, resource management, project costing/budgeting, and milestone tracking.
• Configure SAP PS (Project System) / Portfolio and Project Management functionality within an S/4HANA landscape.
• Design solutions for program-based project structures, earned value management (EVM), and integration with engineering, manufacturing, and finance processes.
• Support integration between project management processes and MRO, SCM, OTC, and RTR functions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, and reports.
• Support data migration, cutover, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and hypercare activities.
• Deliver end-user training and documentation for PPM processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience working as an SAP functional consultant, with dedicated experience in SAP PS / Project & Portfolio Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience specifically within the aerospace and defence industry, with strong understanding of long-duration program/project management, engineering change management, and government/defence program reporting requirements.
• Proven experience on at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or rollout project.
• Strong knowledge of WBS/network structuring, project costing and budgeting, resource planning, milestone billing integration, and earned value management.
• Familiarity with government/defence program compliance and reporting requirements as they relate to project system configuration.
• Experience integrating project management processes with MRO, supply chain, sales, and finance modules.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience); PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in Project System (PS) or Portfolio and Project Management.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM) tools and government program reporting (e.g., EVMS compliance).
• Prior experience with aerospace/defence OEMs, government contractors, or engineering-to-order manufacturing environments.
