Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mold Design Engineer in Singapore to lead mold concepts and development.

You will review drawings, define cavity arrangements and select materials, collaborating with production and suppliers to ensure feasibility and quality. Responsibilities cover tooling manufacturability, trials, troubleshooting and process improvement, with hands-on use of SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 2- and 3-plate compression molds.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tooling/Tool and Die Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Min 5+ years of relevant mold design/tooling engineering experience.
• Experience designing two-plate and three-plate compression molds with fabrication and trials.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mold assemblies and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review part drawings, tolerances and material specs; assess feasibility before mold release.
• Develop two-plate and three-plate compression mold concepts with BOMs in SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
• Define cavity arrangement, venting, inserts and demolding for the part.
• Plan mold trials, verify process parameters and document results.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication, supplier communication and quality inspection.
• Improve cycle time and tool availability while maintaining quality requirements.
