The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Rubber Mold Tooling Design Engineer in Singapore to lead mold design and tooling development for high-precision components used in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will review drawings, specify materials, and create mold concepts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The role covers tooling manufacturability oversight, mold trials, process development, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tooling/Tool and Die Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Min 5 or more years of relevant mold design/tooling engineering experience.
• Practical experience designing two-plate and three-plate compression molds, with evidence of taking designs through fabrication and trials.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mold assemblies, detailed drawings and revisions.

Aufgaben

• Mold design and engineering: review drawings, tolerances, materials and production needs; develop two-plate and three-plate mold concepts in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Tooling manufacturability and fabrication oversight: coordinate with toolroom, check tolerances, standardise components, manage external suppliers.
• Mold trials and molding process development: plan and lead trials, establish process parameters and acceptance criteria, prepare trial reports.
• Troubleshooting and yield improvement: diagnose tooling and molding issues, implement design/process changes, track improvements.
• Tooling repair and maintenance: assess tool condition, plan repairs, establish inspection and preventive-maintenance instructions.
