The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Rubber Mold Tooling Design Engineer in Singapore (Joo Koon) to lead mold design, tooling engineering, and development of two-plate and three-plate compression molds for high-precision parts.

You will review drawings, specify tolerances and materials, coordinate fabrication, and drive mold trials and troubleshooting to ensure quality and efficiency in semiconductor tooling applications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tooling/Tool and Die Engineering or related discipline.
• Min 5 years of mold design/tooling engineering experience.
• Experience designing two-plate and three-plate compression molds with fabrication and trials.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mold assemblies and drawings.

Responsabilités

• Review drawings, dimensions, tolerances, material specs and production needs; identify feasibility issues before releasing a mold design.
• Develop two-plate and three-plate compression mold concepts and BOMs in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Define cavity arrangement, parting surfaces and demolding arrangements for parts and compounds.
• Establish shrinkage allowances using prior production data and trial measurements.
• Select tooling materials, heat treatments and surface treatments with suppliers.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication and review inspection results with manufacturing teams.
• Plan and lead mold trials with technicians; determine sample requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure post-cure effects are verified and prepare tooling acceptance documentation.
• Diagnose tooling issues and implement design/process changes to improve yield and cycle time.
