Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Singapore leads the robotics perception stack for urban autonomous delivery. The Lead Perception Engineer will own end-to-end perception from sensors to real‑time world understanding, contributing across evaluation, debugging, integration, and iterative improvements, with hands-on coding in C++/Python.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and shape perception quality through robust validation workflows and scalable tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping or operating perception systems in robotics or AV domains.
• Experience leading research end-to-end and guiding small teams to advanced results.
• Strong knowledge across ML, perception, prediction, planning, and simulation.
• Fundamentals in geometry and multi-sensor calibration for perception pipelines.
• Proficient in C++ and Python for production-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Lead and set direction for perception capabilities across detection, tracking and multi-sensor integration.
• Own perception foundations end-to-end including sensor integrity and calibration.
• Develop diagnostics and checks to catch geometric or timing issues early.
• Collaborate with Integration, Data and Infra teams to ensure production-grade reliability.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
