UMC is seeking a highly skilled engineer to drive edge process/device development and optimization for RFSOI devices to meet scaling, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

You will conduct device pcell design, create test structures, and perform extensive TCAD simulations and DC-IV bench tests, collaborating with modeling and PDK teams to enable design and validate models.

Qualifications

• Master or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or microelectronics with 2+ years of experience in semiconductor industry or labs.
• Lab or industrial experience in TCAD device development is preferred.
• English language level: good English oral and writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Drive leading-edge process/device development and optimization of RFSOI devices to meet scaling, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
• Conduct device pcell design, test structure creation and tape out.
• Perform extensive TCAD simulations to optimize device performance and ensure reliability.
• Perform device characterization and analysis with DC-IV bench tests.
• Collaborate with modeling & PDK teams for design enablement, model validation and pcell improvement.
