Job summary

Applied Angstrom Technology Pte. Ltd. (“AAT”) is a startup focused on semiconductor equipment, headquartered in Singapore. As a Senior RF Engineer, you will drive RF delivery architecture and impedance matching for plasma sources used in next-generation Atomic Layer Etching chambers.

You will lead development, testing, and characterization of RF/plasma systems, collaborating with process engineers and customer teams to resolve field issues and advance plasma diagnostics and control methods.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in a science or engineering field with emphasis on high-frequency electronics or plasma physics.
• Experience with RF & plasma tool development/qualification in research or production settings.
• Strong foundation in RF power delivery and impedance matching for plasma ignition.

Responsibilities

• Support RF & Plasma tool development/qualification for R&D and Production applications.
• Conduct experiments and characterizations of RF & Plasma systems using lab instruments.
• Develop methods to distribute RF through antennas to ignite stable plasmas.
• Develop RF & Plasma arc detection and diagnostic methods for R&D and Production.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers and Field/Customer teams to troubleshoot RF & Plasma issues.
