Job summary
Applied Angstrom Technology Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead RF delivery architecture for next‑gen ALE chambers in Singapore.
You will drive clean‑sheet designs, dynamic impedance matching, and plasma source characterization to enable sub‑angstrom precision in advanced etch processes. You will act as the technical authority in RF power delivery, work across mechanical, electronics and software domains, and apply expertise in high‑frequency electronics and plasma diagnostics to
Qualifications
- Master/PhD in high-frequency electronics or plasma physics
- Experience with plasmas from DC to MW and varying pressure/gas conditions
- Knowledge of large-area plasma production and industry techniques
- Knowledge in plasma diagnostics (Langmuir probes, optical/microwave diagnostics)
- Knowledge in Etch or CVD technology, applications, and film metrology
- Experience in mechanical design for manufacturability and vacuum systems
- Experience with system design and module integration (PLCs, IoT, Edge, safety)
- Solid background in RF power delivery, impedance matching, RF sensors, transmission line theory, amplifiers, sensors
Responsibilities
- Define and drive RF delivery architecture for ALE chambers
- Develop clean-sheet RF designs and impedance matching strategies
- Characterize plasma sources to achieve sub-angstrom precision
- Collaborate across mechanical, electronics and software teams
- Apply RF diagnostics to optimize plasma processes and chamber performance
