Job summary

CapitaLand Investment Limited in Singapore is seeking a proactive Retail Leasing professional to formulate and execute leasing strategies for its mall portfolio. You will monitor market trends, negotiate leases, and curate a strong tenant mix to drive occupancy and revenue.

You will report to Cluster Head, Leasing or Deputy Head, Leasing, and collaborate with asset managers to strengthen trade concepts. The role requires a CEA license, a degree or diploma in Estate Management or related field,

Qualifications

• Regulatory license (CEA) required.
• Degree or Diploma in Estate Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in retail leasing.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Extensive network of retailers and tenants.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lease retail spaces and handle negotiations for new leases and renewals.
• Plan and implement tenancy mix for malls.
• Source and secure tenants to fit tenant mix at the malls.
• Handle leasing inquiries and recommend spaces to prospects.
• Work with asset managers to achieve optimum mall occupancy and revenue.
• Refresh trade mix with new retail concepts.
• Conduct market research on retail market and trends.
• Establish strong network with retailers and tenants.
