NTU's Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) seeks an Electrical System Integration Engineer to operate and maintain BESS, solar PV, PCS, and associated electrical infrastructure within the EPGC test facility.

You will lead commissioning, coordinate with contractors, ensure safety compliance, and provide hands-on technical support for research projects across energy storage and smart systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in electrical power systems.
• Experience in electrical system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of LV/MV distribution, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.

Responsabilités

• Operate, monitor, and maintain BESS, solar PV, PCS, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Support installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and decommissioning of new energy technologies.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Prepare technical documentation and test reports.
• Assist in evaluating new energy storage and smart energy systems.
• Manage maintenance schedules and spare parts.
• Liaise with researchers and external partners to support project execution.
• Participate in emergency response and system restoration.
• Identify opportunities for improving system performance, reliability, and safety.
