Qualifications

• Advanced degree in science or engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in research development, grant writing or research management.
• Familiarity with Singapore funding landscape (NRF, MOE, A*STAR) advantageous.
• Experience coordinating multi-investigator submissions.
• Excellent technical writing, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic funding initiatives to expand the School’s research portfolio.
• Identify funding opportunities from national agencies, industry partners and international programmes, advising PIs on alignment with NTU/School strategy and funding criteria.
• Drive and coordinate the preparation of large competitive research grant proposals, including drafting technical narratives and consolidating multidisciplinary inputs.
• Manage the end-to-end proposal development process, including timeline coordination, budget planning and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with PIs to refine research concepts, articulate project significance and innovation, and position proposals to maximize funding potential.
• Provide advisory support on grant budgeting during proposal development and coordinate with relevant offices on post‑award financial matters.
• Support faculty in post‑award activities, including progress reporting and grant variations.
• Support the implementation of School’s research data governance practices as School’s Research Data Governance Manager.
