Job summary

Danos Group in Singapore is seeking a VP/Director-level Compliance professional to join its regional Compliance team. This senior, business-facing advisory role focuses on regulatory matters and partnering with the business across Asia.

You will provide practical regulatory advice across Asia, covering Singapore and Hong Kong, support new products and initiatives, and oversee regulatory inspections and filings. Strong communication and 10+ years in compliance required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant Compliance experience.
• Strong business-facing regulatory advisory experience.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements; Hong Kong exposure is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical compliance and regulatory advice to senior stakeholders and business teams across Asia.
• Advise on regulatory requirements for Singapore, Hong Kong and other Asian jurisdictions.
• Support new products, business initiatives and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Provide advice on cross-border activities, licensing and business conduct.
• Review marketing and client-facing materials from a regulatory perspective.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into policies and controls.
• Review trading and conduct-related matters, including market abuse and conflicts of interest.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, licensing matters and filings.
• Participate in regional and global compliance projects.
