Job summary

Halian, part of the NES Fircroft Group, is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant in Singapore to own a technology recruitment desk, build long-term client partnerships, and deliver talent solutions across Singapore and the APAC region. You will manage full lifecycle recruitment for IT and digital roles, source top talent, and drive business development in a dynamic, global team.

• Minimum 4 years of recruitment agency experience.
• Proven track record in IT/technology recruitment.
• Experience generating new business and building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment across contract, contract-to-hire and permanent roles.
• Source and place technology professionals across software, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI, ERP and digital transformation.
• Conduct in-depth candidate assessments for technical capability, experience and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain candidate networks through proactive sourcing, market mapping and referrals.
• Deliver excellent candidate experience with ongoing engagement and guidance.
• Manage contractor relationships and ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Develop trusted client partnerships and understand hiring challenges and workforce strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, meetings and market intel.
• Provide hiring trend insights, salary benchmarking and competitive landscape.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to take ownership of a specialist technology recruitment desk, develop long-term client partnerships, and deliver exceptional talent solutions across Singapore and the wider APAC market.

What You'll Be Doing

• End-to-End Recruitment: Managing the full recruitment lifecycle across contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent hiring mandates.
• Technology Recruitment: Sourcing and placing professionals across technology disciplines including Software Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, AI, ERP, Digital Transformation, and Emerging Technologies.
• Candidate Assessment: Conducting detailed interviews to evaluate technical capability, experience, motivation, and cultural fit.
• Talent Pipelining: Building and maintaining high-quality candidate networks through proactive sourcing, market mapping, referrals, and networking activities.
• Candidate Care: Delivering an exceptional candidate experience through regular engagement, career guidance, market insights, and ongoing support.
• Contractor Engagement: Maintaining strong relationships with contractors and placed candidates to ensure satisfaction, retention, and referral generation.
• Client Relationship Management: Developing trusted partnerships with existing clients while understanding their hiring challenges and workforce strategies.
• Business Development: Identifying and securing new opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, referrals, client meetings, and market intelligence.
• Market Expertise: Acting as a trusted advisor by providing insights on hiring trends, salary benchmarking, talent availability, and competitor activity.
• Desk Ownership: Managing multiple vacancies and recruitment projects while balancing candidate pipelines, client needs, and commercial objectives.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensuring all recruitment activities are compliant with company policies, local employment regulations, and client requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Recruitment Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience working within a recruitment agency environment.
• Technology Recruitment Expertise: Proven track record recruiting within IT, technology, digital, STEM, or professional services markets.
• Business Development Skills: Experience generating new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
• Relationship Builder: Ability to establish credibility and maintain strong partnerships with both clients and candidates.
