Job summary
IKAS INTERNATIONAL (ASIA) PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior frontend/backend developer to build and optimize real-time web applications for trading platforms. You will lead design discussions, collaborate with global teams, and mentor peers while delivering scalable, low-latency solutions.
The role requires 7+ years of experience in modern web technologies, strong JS/TS/React skills, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Singapore-based, full-time position with impact across markets.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux and RxJS.
- Experience in real-time, latency-sensitive single-page applications.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles and patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
- Full-stack development with Java backend is a plus.
- Experience in financial markets or electronic trading is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance complex, real-time web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Drive technical design and deliver solutions for business-critical trading platforms.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and production support.
- Build scalable, high-performance applications and optimise latency-sensitive systems.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Lead development tasks, review code and mentor other developers.
