Job summary

Citibank N.A. in Singapore seeks a senior frontend developer to build and maintain web apps for Equity Derivatives trading platforms. You will design, implement and test UI components using React and TypeScript, with Redux state management and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• At least 5–6 years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of React, Redux, RTK, Cypress and Storybook.
• Extensive experience with Cypress and Vitest, focusing on test-driven development.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including complex types and interfaces.
• Proficient in responsive web design and CSS.
• Familiar with backend frameworks such as Node.js and Java Spring Boot APIs.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and data formats like XML/JSON.
• Experience with RDMS (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player under ambiguous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web apps using React and TypeScript, ensuring high quality, maintainable code.
• Manage application state using Redux and middleware like Redux Toolkit.
• Ensure high test coverage with Vitest and Cypress integration tests.
• Build reusable UI components for Trade Management applications.
• Contribute to overall architecture and frontend design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews to improve quality, maintainability and testability.
• Plan and schedule work independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define feature requirements and deliver impactful products.
• Foster a collaborative, adaptable team culture and mentor analysts.
