Job summary

Land Transport Authority of Singapore is seeking engineers to coordinate the design and integration of electrical and mechanical subsystems for rail transit projects. You will review technical submissions and support construction, testing and commissioning across project design, construction and testing phases.

You will help resolve site-related issues, monitor progress, and assist in tender evaluation and design reviews.

Qualifications

Knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Control Engineering.
Interest in project management and large scale infrastructure projects.
Good communication, written and interpersonal skills.
Able to perform shift work including weekends.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design and development of multi-disciplinary interfaces among electrical and mechanical systems to ensure compatibility with performance requirements.
Assist in reviewing technical submissions and participate in construction, installation, testing and commissioning of these systems.
Assist engineers in resolving system design/interface/site-related issues within specified timeframes.
Manage, supervise, monitor and report project construction, testing and commissioning progress.
Assist in preparing technical specifications, participate in tender evaluation, and conduct design reviews of new rail transit systems.
