Land Transport Authority of Singapore is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer for Trackwork. You will assist in planning, designing, and overseeing track layouts and related infrastructure, while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with engineering standards.

You will conduct site inspections, prepare reports, review technical submissions, and coordinate with stakeholders to keep projects on schedule. Night and weekend work may be required based on project needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work night and weekend shifts when required.
• Interest in railway systems; experienced candidates may be considered for senior positions.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and execution of trackwork projects, ensuring safety, quality, and engineering standards.
• Support the design and analysis of track layouts, track geometry, and related infrastructure.
• Conduct daily site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare daily reports, technical reports and documentation related to trackwork activities.
• Review technical submissions (specifications, drawings, method statements & risk assessments).
• Coordinate with stakeholders on site and administrative matters.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to track maintenance and performance issues.
