Our esteemed client, a multinational company, is seeking a Senior R&D Chef with extensive bakery and pastry expertise. The role covers concept-to-commercialisation, recipe scaling, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, QA, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales.

You will lead product trials, optimise formulations for mass manufacturing, and support customer proposals and demonstrations, including overseas projects when required.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking, Food Science, Bakery Technology, or related field.
• Strong background as a Pastry Chef or Bakery Chef.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in R&D, bakery, pastry, or food product development.
• Hands-on experience in mass production and recipe scaling from trials to commercial production.
• Knowledge of flour, bakery premixes, functional ingredients, and recipe formulations.

Aufgaben

• Develop bakery, pastry, dessert, and confectionery products from concept to commercialisation.
• Formulate, test, and optimise recipes for large-scale manufacturing.
• Conduct product and factory trials and scale-up to ensure quality.
• Improve product quality, shelf life, yield, cost efficiency, and processes.
• Provide technical support for customer proposals and product development.
