Job summary

bathsystem singapore pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost control and contract administration across precast/construction projects in Singapore. You will assist the Manager with tender pricing, risk assessment and post-contract close-outs.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years QS experience, strong communication, and ability to lead cost analysis, prepare budgets, and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering / Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of QS experience in precast concrete/construction.
• Knowledge of SOP.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer relations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork spirit to work with other quantity surveyors.
• Positive working attitude and sociable with colleagues.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize tasks.
• Good problem definition, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-tender to post-contract stages, monitor risk and cost control.
• Analyze tender pricing and prepare tender analyses for review.
• Flag deviations during tender stage and clarify with main contractors.
• Submit tenders, prepare contracts and highlight contractual matters.
• Coordinate site visits to gather pre-tender information.
• Prepare tender analyses for management review.
• Prepare contract documents, quantity take-offs, monitor variations and cost info.
• Prepare project budgets for management approval post-award.
• Organize kick-off meetings with departments for project schedules and procurement planning.
• Source prices for materials/subcontracts and prepare cost comparisons.
