Job summary

LEGEND (SINGAPORE) INTERIORS PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to manage cost, contracts, and post‑award activities on interior fit‑out projects in Singapore.

You will prepare estimates, evaluate tenders, monitor costs, track variations, and prepare final accounts while coordinating with design and procurement teams to ensure on‑time delivery.

The role demands strong negotiation, communication, and independent work ethic to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in interior fit-out / construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and cost control.
• Experience in commercial, retail, or office fit-out projects preferred.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of quantity surveying duties from pre-contract to post-contract
• Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions, and budgets
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contract terms
• Monitor project costs, variations, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and track progress claims, VO submissions, and final accounts
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with contractual requirements
• Work closely with project, design, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Drive timely invoicing and ensure payment collection within agreed terms
• Expand the vendor pools
