Job summary

AECOM Singapore is seeking a Building/Quantity Surveying professional to join our cost consulting and project management team on a hybrid basis. You will evaluate client requirements, liaise with architects and consultants, and prepare cost estimates and contracts for architectural, infrastructure, and structural works.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Building/Quantity Surveying and 4 years' experience in pre- and post-contract work within consultancy or main contracting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
• 4 years of experience within pre and post contract in consultancy / main contractor environment; builder/infrastructure project is a plus.
• Demonstrates passion, results-oriented mindset, and commitment to the company and client.
• Contributes by solving problems and applying experience to typical projects.
• Mentors and guides juniors and performs self-checks of work before submission.
• Works collaboratively with guidance on unfamiliar work activities.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and conduct feasibility studies
• Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and attend site meetings
• Review drawings/specifications and prepare project cost estimates
• Prepare contracts, tender documents, and subcontract agreements
• Measure quantities for architectural, infrastructure, and structural works
• Handle pre- and post-contract administration and consultancy work
• Assess variation orders, valuations, budgets, and payment claims
• Prepare contract documents and monitor contractual compliance
• Coordinate subcontractor works and maintenance cost analysis
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and advise on contractual claims
• Ensure compliance with statutory building regulations
