Job summary

Excell Enterprise is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation and contract administration through pre-tender to post-contract stages for diverse construction projects in Singapore.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong drawing interpretation and communication skills to manage payments, variations, and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil or building construction.
• Experience with variation works (A&A, R&R) is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Calculate quantities and pricing for tender submissions across projects.
• Source and evaluate sub-contractors and suppliers for cost control.
• Analyze price comparisons and prepare detailed costing summaries.
• Administer interim valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Perform site measurements to verify quantities and costs.
• Certify subcontractor progress payments per contract terms.
• Manage contract documentation throughout project lifecycle.
• Attend meetings with Project Managers and provide contract support.
• Prepare monthly progress and variation claims to clients.
• Close final accounts for completed projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve claims.
• Monitor progress claim status and accounts receivable.
