Job summary

SOON KEONG AIR-CON CONTRACTOR in Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support pre-tender and tender activities, prepare contract documents, tender pricing and cost estimation, and perform quantity take-offs on diverse projects.

You will monitor budgets, track costs, liaise with owners, developers, site engineers, consultants and subcontractors, source materials, and evaluate payments. A Diploma in QS or Civil Engineering and at least 3 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience in local construction projects is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in related field.
• Able to liaise with English and Chinese speaking is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Pre-tender and tender duties.
• Prepare contract documents, tender pricing and document cost estimation, planning and quantity take off.
• Tracking changes to design and/or construction work and adjust budget projection accordingly.
• Monitor project budget and costing, measuring and valuing the work done on site.
• Liaise with owner, developers, site engineers, consultants, and sub-contractors.
• Selecting and/or sourcing construction materials.
• Sourcing contractors and/or subcontractors.
• Evaluation and assessment of payment to supplies/sub-contractors.
• Prepare, negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Undertake any other additional duties by Superior.
