Job summary

MADD PROJECTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and cost control across projects in Singapore.

You will prepare BOQs, budgets, and cost breakdowns, plus review contracts and progress claims to safeguard commercial interests. You will coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, monitor expenditures, and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of construction costs, materials, and contract terms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Meticulous and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and BOQ; analyze project costs.
• Tender & Quotation Management: Prepare tender submissions, quotations, cost breakdowns, and tender documentation; source and evaluate quotations; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Contract Administration: Review contract documents, prepare progress claims, VO, and final accounts; monitor obligations and payments.
• Project Cost Control: Monitor expenditure against budgets; maintain cost records; track costs.
• Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with managers, suppliers, subcontractors; verify claims and invoices; follow up on payments.
• Other Duties: Maintain documentation and file QS records; perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
