The role focuses on controlling project scope, negotiating with contractors, and ensuring value while complying with building regulations. You will allocate work, analyse risks, and prepare cost analyses and tender documents, collaborating with management to achieve project objectives and

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably with local and Asia projects.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract admin, tendering, and post-contract management processes.

Responsibilities

Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
Assess the degree of hazards and risks to ensure workplace safety is maintained.
Communicate with management, contractors and sub-contractors on adjustments to cost estimates.
Conduct negotiations during the course of the project to ensure issues are resolved.
Control project scope to meet objectives and enhance deliverables and key activities.
Develop cost reduction strategies to enhance overall project value.
Monitor project costs to ensure objectives are achieved in accordance with building contracts.
