Job summary

TIMBER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost estimating, tendering, and contract administration for Singapore-based projects, including interiors fit-out.

You will prepare BQ, monitor budgets, prepare claims and variations, and work with subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. The role requires at least 5 years of local experience, strong knowledge of tendering and cost control, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Singapore-based experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in construction or interior fit-out projects; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, cost control and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents and quotations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely communication and smooth project execution.
• Assist in tender submissions and tender evaluations.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project.
• Support procurement and material costing.
• Maintain proper project documentation and reports.
• Attend project meetings and site visits when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
