Job summary

WOH HUP (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all cost and contract issues on the main contract and sub-contracts.

The role involves preparing monthly progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors; monitoring project budgets and cost control; post-contract administration for both main contracts and subcontracts; and advising management on contractual positions from tender through project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities on projects worth at least $100 million.
• Candidates with knowledge in Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Conditions of Contract, REDAS, FIDIC, FIDIC Short Form of Contracts will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors.
• Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control.
• Responsible in Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts.
• Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget.
• Liaise with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment.
• Be familiar with various stages of projects to source for the most viable yet reasonably priced materials.
• Share new perspectives on cost, orders and claims.
• Advise management on their position of the contract from the tender stage.
