Job summary

KAR SENG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, budgeting and cost analysis for civil engineering projects in Singapore.

You will handle quantity take-offs, prepare progress claims, variation orders, final accounts, and assist in cost tracking with minimal supervision. Reading drawings and contract documents is essential; degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying with at least 4 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity taking off and cost breakdown for tender.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claim and variation order to client.
• Identify variation works and compile supporting documents.
• Prepare and track project budget and costing.
• Prepare payment certificates and verify claims submitted by subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing final accounts upon project completion.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Able to read, understand and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
