Job summary

Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support cost planning, procurement and contract administration for civil projects at a Tuas site in Singapore.

You will prepare subcontractor procurement, evaluate price comparisons, manage variances, and ensure timely settlement of final accounts, with 8–10 years of relevant experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of relevant civil project experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong organizing skills with timely completion of tasks.
• Ability to perform manual material take-offs for variation claims.
• Independent work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Source for quotation for materials and services.
• Preparation of subcontractor’s/supplier’s procurement, agreements and payments.
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
• Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities.
• Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget & cost control.
• Prepare settlement of final account.
• Maintenance of project documentations.
• Manage Contracts administration.
• Handle issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim.
