Job summary

jangho curtain wall singapore pte. ltd. seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and procurement activities. You will prepare progress and variation claims, certify payments, and draft sub-contracts within a large-scale façade environment.

Strong English communication is required; Mandarin is an asset. The role involves 5.5-day work with alt Saturdays, and potential WFH after probation. APS/SAP familiarity is a plus, with AWS and other benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Professional degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 7–10 years of proven experience in commercial quantity surveying.
• Experience on large-scale building projects or façade/cladding is preferred.
• Excellent English; Mandarin is an asset for communication.

Responsibilities

• Cost management of projects and timely reporting.
• Prepare and submit interim progress and variation claims.
• Manage procurement: source, evaluate, award contracts to subcontractors/suppliers.
• Evaluate and certify payment claims from subcontractors.
• Prepare, negotiate and settle final accounts with clients/consultants/subcontractors.
• Utilize SAP and other ERP systems for reporting and process.
• Review main contracts, draft sub-contracts, assist with EOT and cost claims.
• Draft and prepare Sub-Contract Documents and contractual correspondence.
• Support commercial team in complex claims (EOT, acceleration, etc.).
• Attend progress, commercial and technical meetings; perform other QS duties.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Cost management of projects
• Prepare and submit interim progress claims and variation claims.
• Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating, and awarding contracts to subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Evaluate, assess, and certify payment claims submitted by subcontractors accurately.
• Prepare, negotiate, and successfully settle final accounts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Utilize internal enterprise reporting systems, specifically OAand SAP.
• Review main contracts for risks, draft sub-contract documents, and assist in preparing EOT, prolongation, and cost claims
• Draft, compile, and prepare Sub-Contract Documents.
• Draft precise contractual correspondence addresses to clients and sub-contractors regarding time, cost, and risk implications.
• Assist the Commercial Management Team in formulating complex claims, including Extension of Time (EOT), acceleration, prolongation, and loss/expense claims.
• Attend progress, commercial, and technical meetings as required.
• Perform other commercial or quantity surveying duties as assigned by management.

Requirement:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 yearsof proven working experience in commercial quantity surveying. Experience working on large-scale building projects or specialized façade/cladding systems will be highly preferred.
• Core QS tasks (taking-off, variation claims, and contract administration).
• Well-written and spoken English. The ability to speak and read Mandarin is an asset that facilitates smooth communication with Mandarin-speaking associates, clients, and suppliers.
• Willing to work 5.5days with alt Saturday (allow to apply WFH for Alt Saturday after 3 months probation).
