Job summary

Acres Builders Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Architectural) to manage tender submissions, progress claims, variations and final accounts for architectural projects. The role emphasizes accurate cost estimation and rigorous budgeting in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform take-offs, prepare BOQ, monitor contract delivery, and support site meetings. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of local construction industry experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels.
• Preference for English and Chinese bilingual abilities to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender submissions, handle progress claims, variation orders and finalize project accounts.
• Administration of tenders - prepare Quotation, tender and contract documents including Bill of Quantities, cost estimation, cost control and budgeting.
• Final Account Preparations.
• Take-off quantity, prepare bill of quantity, cost estimation for tender & on-going projects.
• Monitor project delivery to ensure materials are in accordance to contractual terms and conditions.
• Updating & tracking of drawings to ensure timely information.
• Maintain proper & complete set of contract documents.
• Contracts administration such as valuations of variations etc.
• Attend site meetings (if required) and assist supervisors in letter/report writing correspondences.
• Other adhoc duties assigned by Manager.
