Job summary

KASZON PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare and analyze cost comparisons, obtain quotations, liaise with subcontractors, and manage variation orders and final accounts.

The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, 5+ years in main-contractor environments, and proven negotiation, contract administration, and problem-solving skills to meet tight deadlines.

This role requires independence, meticulousness, and teamwork on building projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as QS in main-contractor projects.
• Experience in building projects preferred.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration and variation orders.
• Independent, meticulous, analytical, proactive and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
• Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities and take off.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• All other QS related job.
