Job summary

APPLIED MATERIALS SOUTH EAST ASIA PTE. LTD. seeks a Quality Engineer for FEOL to ensure strict adherence to quality standards across high-volume semiconductor processes.

You will develop QA systems, set quality objectives, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to embed quality into production and new technology. Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of work experience; >3 years in in-process quality control in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of nanotechnology processes (lithography, etch, deposition, metrology).
• Proficient in statistical data analysis and DOE/SPC/JMP for process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and strengthen QA systems to improve product quality and process capability.
• Establish quality objectives, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements in customer quality and defect reduction.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to embed quality into production processes and new technology implementations.
• Foster a prevention-based quality culture emphasizing risk anticipation, discipline and continuous learning.
• Govern quality risk via PFMEA, Control Plans, PCN, MRB, and quality review processes.
• Identify, investigate, mitigate, and monitor quality issues and non-conformities.
• Drive recurrence prevention and risk reduction across operations.
• Use statistical methods to interpret data, identify trends and drive yield/performance improvements.
• Travel on short notice when required.
