Job summary

Applied Materials Singapore seeks an Operations Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality across the manufacturing lifecycle. You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Global Quality to prevent defects and improve cycle time while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will apply data-driven methodologies, quality tools, and continuous improvement practices to enhance manufacturing performance and maintain compliance with requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; relevant quality/ manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with quality systems, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, and ISO 9001 is desirable.
• Ability to analyze data, lead cross-functional teams, and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement quality control methods for manufacturing and production equipment.
• Lead root-cause investigations using structured quality methods and CAPA.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Support customer quality issues, escalations, and reviews with clear communication.
