Job summary

jointhire singapore pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead to manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection gates, including CMM programming and precision tooling for high-tolerance parts.

You will oversee FAI and NPI documentation, handle NCRs with 8D/5-Why methodologies, mentor QC inspectors, and drive external vendor audits while monitoring supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Precision Engineering.
• 5+ years in QC in CNC machining/metal manufacturing.
• Advanced blueprint reading, GD&T, and CMM usage.
• Proficient in SPC, CpK, Gage R&R, and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection gates, including CMM programming.
• Oversee and approve FAI reports and NPI documentation for high-tolerance parts.
• Handle non-conformance reports (NCR), leading CAPA via 8D or 5-Why methodologies.
• Train, mentor, and schedule the daily work of QC inspectors and work closely with quality engineers.
• Monitor supplier performance, qualify new vendors, and lead external vendor audits.
