Job summary

Sterling Engineers Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Qualified Person (Supervision) [QP(S)] to provide statutory supervision, design review and construction oversight for major MRT infrastructure projects in Singapore.

The role involves leading site supervision for MRT stations, elevated viaducts and structural works, coordinating with LTA and authorities, reviewing design calculations, and guiding Resident Engineers and Officers in the field.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and decision-making capability.
• Excellent technical review and engineering judgement.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and interfaces on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the appointed QP(S) under the Building Control Act and relevant statutory regulations.
• Obtain permits to commence works and submit statutory reports, certificates and endorsements required by BCA, LTA and relevant authorities.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved plans, statutory requirements, design intent and industry standards.
• Review and assess design calculations, construction drawings and shop drawings, method statements and test reports.
• Lead and guide REs and RTOs in site supervision activities.
